Redstuff pads provide a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, delivering strong initial bite even when cold and maintaining consistent performance as temperatures rise during repeated heavy braking. Each pad set includes EBC’s proprietary Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process. Note that due to the hard-wearing nature of the ceramic material, full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles for optimal rotor mating.
