EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use on sport compacts and premium sedans. Utilizing a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, these pads are designed to significantly reduce brake dust by 60-90% compared to standard semi-metallic alternatives. Because the formula contains no steel fibers, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and can be easily washed away with a simple sponge wash.
These pads provide a strong cold bite and maintain a high friction coefficient as they heat up, making them ideal for repeated heavy braking scenarios. To ensure proper performance from the start, each pad features EBC’s Brake-In™ red surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the initial bed-in period. Please note that as a hard-wearing performance pad, full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles.
