EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans. This synthetic fiber-based compound, enhanced with ceramic particles, offers a significant upgrade over factory pads by providing superior stopping power and a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. Designed for drivers who prioritize cleanliness without sacrificing performance, Redstuff is EBC’s lowest-dust pad, reducing brake dust by 60-90% compared to semi-metallic alternatives.
These pads feature the EBC Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Because this is a hard-wearing, long-lasting compound, full bed-in may take up to 1,000 miles to achieve the final rotor mating shape. The ceramic-enhanced formula contains no steel fibers, making any residual dust easy to remove during standard washing.
