EBC Brakes Ultimax2 brake pads are engineered as a premium OE replacement solution for daily drivers, urban commuters, and light trucks. Manufactured in EBC’s Bristol, UK facility, the Ultimax2 compound provides reliable stopping power with minimal dust and low rotor wear. These pads are black-coded and fully ECE R90 safety approved, ensuring performance equivalent to or exceeding original equipment standards at a more accessible price point.
To ensure quiet operation and a fast bed-in process, these pads feature shims, slots, and chamfered edges. The friction material utilizes a specialized fibre blend with a significantly lower steel content than many competitors, reducing abrasive wear while maintaining a universal heat range for consistent performance in various driving conditions.
