Fits select 2007-2017 BMW 328i, 328i/xi xDrive, 335i xDrive, and X1 (sDrive28i, xDrive28i, and xDrive35i) models. These front brake pads are designed for drivers of performance sedans and hot hatches who require superior stopping power with minimal wheel cleaning.
The EBC Redstuff Ceramic compound is a synthetic fiber-based material enhanced with ceramic particles. Engineered specifically for repeated heavy braking, this compound has been proven in EBC testing to stop a vehicle from 100mph/160kph up to 13 meters sooner than factory pads. The ceramic formula is highly resistant to heat fade and emits 60-90% less dust than standard semi-metallic pads. Any dust generated contains no steel fiber particles, making it non-abrasive and easy to remove with a simple wash.
These pads feature EBC's proprietary Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Note that because Redstuff is a hard-wearing ceramic material, full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles to properly conform to the rotor shape.
