Equipped with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, Redstuff pads provide strong cold-bite performance that improves as operating temperatures rise. Each pad set features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Note that due to the hard-wearing nature of the ceramic material, full bed-in may take up to 1,000 miles to achieve optimal contact with the rotor.
