EBC Redstuff ceramic brake pads (DP31850C) are engineered specifically for premium sedans and high-performance street use. Utilizing a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, these pads provide a significant upgrade over factory braking performance while maintaining quiet operation. The formulation is completely free of steel fiber particles, resulting in a non-corrosive brake dust that is easier to remove and reduces wheel soiling by up to 60-90% compared to standard semi-metallic pads.

Designed for repeated heavy braking, Redstuff pads maintain a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 and exhibit high resistance to heat fade. Each set features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process. Note that as a hard-wearing ceramic material, these pads may require a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to reach full performance capacity.
