EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use on premium sedans and hot hatches. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to provide superior stopping power while significantly reducing brake dust by 60-90%. Unlike standard pads, Redstuff contains no steel fiber particles, meaning the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily washed away with a simple sponge. These pads are designed to handle repeated heavy braking, offering high friction with excellent heat fade resistance.
Each pad features EBC’s proprietary “Brake-In” surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. While these hard-wearing pads may require up to 1,000 miles to fully seat against the rotor, they have been proven in testing to stop a vehicle 13 meters sooner than OEM pads from 100 mph.
