EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use on premium sedans and sports cars. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles, offering a significant upgrade over factory pads by providing a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. Designed specifically for repeated heavy braking, Redstuff has been proven to reduce stopping distances by up to 13 meters from 100 mph (160 kph) compared to OEM equivalents.

The Redstuff formula is the lowest-dust option in the EBC range, reducing brake dust by 60% to 90%. Unlike many semi-metallic pads, this compound contains no steel fiber particles, making the minimal dust produced much easier to clean with a simple sponge wash. Each set features EBC's "Brake-In" red surface coating to condition the rotor surface and accelerate the bed-in process. Note that due to the hard-wearing nature of this ceramic material, full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles of patient driving.
