Fits 2014-2017 Mazda 3 (Japan Build) including Grand Touring, Sport, and Touring models. These vehicles require specific brake pad dimensions based on their assembly location; these pads are engineered specifically for Japanese-built chassis.
EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic pads are the premier choice for spirited street driving and premium sedans. Utilizing a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, these pads offer a high 0.5 nominal friction coefficient while significantly reducing brake dust by approximately 50-90%. Unlike standard semi-metallic pads, the ceramic-enhanced formula contains no steel fibers, making any residual dust non-abrasive and easy to remove with a simple wash.
Designed to handle repeated heavy braking with minimal heat fade, Redstuff pads provide excellent cold-bite performance that improves as the system reaches operating temperature. Each pad features EBC's Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding-in process. Note that due to the hard-wearing nature of this ceramic compound, a full bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles may be required for optimal contact and performance.
