Each pad features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface upon installation and accelerates the bed-in process. With a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, these pads offer excellent cold bite and maintain consistent performance as heat builds during repeated heavy braking. For vehicles driven at higher speeds or under load, Redstuff has been tested to provide shorter stopping distances than standard semi-metallic compounds.
