EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans, providing a significant upgrade over factory friction material. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. These pads are specifically formulated to reduce brake dust by approximately 50% compared to traditional semi-metallic pads, while the non-steel fiber composition ensures that any residual dust is easily washed away without etching the wheel finish.

Designed for repeated heavy braking, Redstuff pads maintain high thermal stability and resist fade better than OE components. Each pad features the EBC Brake-In surface coating, which scours the rotor surface and conditions the disc to accelerate the bed-in process. Note that as a hard-wearing performance pad, full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles to achieve optimal contact with the rotor surface.
