EBC Brakes Redstuff ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans, providing a significant upgrade over OE friction material. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. Designed for repeated heavy braking, Redstuff pads have been proven to reduce stopping distances by up to 13 meters from 100 mph compared to factory pads.

The low-dust formula contains no steel fiber particles, making it non-abrasive to wheels and significantly reducing visible brake dust by 60% to 90%. Each pad features the EBC Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process. Note that due to the hard-wearing nature of the ceramic compound, full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles to achieve maximum rotor contact and performance.
