EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans where low dust and high stopping power are critical. These synthetic fiber-based pads are enhanced with ceramic particles to provide a significant upgrade over factory compounds. By eliminating steel fiber particles, Redstuff pads significantly reduce brake dust and prevent the etching that occurs with traditional semi-metallic pads.
Designed for repeated heavy braking, these pads maintain a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 and offer high resistance to heat fade. The pads feature the EBC Brake-In surface coating, which helps condition the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Due to the hard-wearing nature of the ceramic material, drivers should allow for a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to ensure the pads fully conform to the rotor shape for optimal performance.
