EBC Yellowstuff (DP4839R) is a high-performance aramid fiber-based brake compound engineered for drivers who demand consistent stopping power on both the street and the track. Unlike dedicated race pads that require significant heat to function, Yellowstuff provides a high brake effect right from cold while becoming even stronger under the thermal stress of hard driving. This zero-fade compound is a favorite for competitive use in series like the SCCA and NASA, offering a rotor-friendly friction surface for vehicles under 2,000 lbs or 200 BHP.
While Yellowstuff provides superior high-speed stopping power, it is a high-friction performance pad and will produce more brake dust than a standard OE replacement; for a low-dust premium street pad, EBC Redstuff is recommended. This front set is an ideal upgrade for those looking to improve braking response without sacrificing cold-start safety.
