EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans, offering a significant reduction in brake dust and improved stopping power. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to provide a high-friction, low-heat-fade solution that out-performs standard semi-metallic pads. Redstuff pads are specifically designed to reduce dust by 60-90% compared to factory equipment. Because the material contains no steel fibers, the minimal dust produced is easily removed during a standard wash.
These rear pads feature EBC’s proprietary Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. With a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, Redstuff pads provide strong cold-braking performance that remains stable as temperatures rise during repeated heavy braking. Note: As a hard-wearing compound, these pads may require a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to fully conform to the rotor shape.
