EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans where low dust and superior stopping power are required. This ceramic-enhanced synthetic fiber compound is designed to reduce brake dust by 60-90% compared to standard pads. Because the formula contains no steel fibers, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily removed during a standard wash, protecting your wheel finish.
These pads provide a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, offering excellent bite from cold while maintaining thermal stability during repeated heavy braking. Each pad features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process. Note that as a hard-wearing ceramic compound, these pads may require a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to fully conform to the rotor shape.
