EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedan applications where low dust and high stopping power are priorities. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 while reducing brake dust by up to 60-90% compared to semi-metallic alternatives. Because the formula contains no steel fibers, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily washed away during standard cleaning.

These pads feature the EBC Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process upon installation. Designed for repeated heavy braking, Redstuff provides high resistance to heat fade and remains quiet during daily operation. As a hard-wearing ceramic compound, these pads may require a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to fully conform to the rotor surface and reach peak performance.
