Unlike drilled rotors, the blind-drilled dimples maintain structural integrity while providing an escape path for brake gases. The wide slots actively draw cool air under the pad surface and sweep away dust, dirt, and debris to maintain a clean contact patch and reduce brake fade under heavy load or high-speed driving.
