EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street driving and premium sedans. This synthetic fiber-based compound is reinforced with ceramic particles to provide superior stopping power while significantly reducing brake dust by 60-90%. Unlike traditional semi-metallic pads, the minimal dust generated contains no steel fiber particles, making it non-abrasive and easy to clean with a simple sponge wash.
Designed for repeated heavy braking, these rear pads feature EBC’s proprietary Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. With a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, Redstuff pads deliver excellent initial bite from cold and improved thermal stability as they heat up. Because this is a hard-wearing material, drivers should allow for a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to ensure the pads fully conform to the rotor surface.
