Fits select 1999-2006 BMW 323i, 323Ci, 325i, 325xi, 328i, 328Ci, Z3, and Z4 (Roadster and Coupe).
EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic pads are engineered as a high-performance street upgrade for premium sedans and spirited driving. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to provide superior stopping power and a significant reduction in brake dust—up to 60-90% compared to semi-metallic pads. Because the formula contains no steel fibers, the minimal dust produced is non-corrosive and easily removed with standard washing.
These pads offer excellent cold bite equivalent to or better than OE components, with performance that improves as the brakes reach operating temperature. To ensure consistent performance from the first drive, EBC includes a Brake-In surface coating that conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Note that due to the hard-wearing nature of this ceramic compound, a full bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles may be required for the pads to fully conform to the rotor shape.
