EBC GD Series Sport rotors are engineered to provide superior cooling and gas venting for high-performance street and track use. These rotors feature wide-aperture slots that draw cool air under the brake pad contact patch while expelling dust, dirt, and hot gases. Unlike traditional cross-drilled rotors which can develop stress cracks under heavy thermal loads, the GD Series uses blind-drilled dimples to maintain structural integrity while providing essential degassing.
Precision-cast from OE-spec G3000 grey iron, these rotors are manufactured primarily in EBC's own UK foundry. Each rotor is tested for grain structure, tensile strength, and hardness before being balanced to eliminate runout. The gold anodized finish provides a layer of corrosion protection for the hub and internal vanes, ensuring a long-lasting professional appearance.
