Every Redstuff pad features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In surface coating. This red abrasive layer conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process, ensuring full contact and optimal performance shortly after installation. Because this is a hard-wearing, high-performance material, a patient bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles is recommended for the pads to fully conform to the rotors.
