By converting to a two-piece design, these rotors replace the factory units with a high-carbon cast iron friction ring joined to a lightweight aluminum center bell. This floating architecture allows the rotor to expand and contract radially during extreme temperature cycles, significantly reducing the risk of rotor warping and brake fade on the street or track.
