EBC Racing titanium brake pad shims provide a high-performance thermal barrier between your brake pads and caliper pistons. Laser-cut from premium titanium sheet, these shims feature a perforated design specifically engineered to interrupt and reduce conductive heat transfer. This protection is critical for maintaining braking system integrity, as most caliper seals begin to sustain damage at temperatures exceeding 130°C (270°F).
By limiting the heat soak into the caliper body and brake fluid, these shims help prevent fluid boil and maintain a firm, consistent pedal feel under heavy track or spirited street use.
