EBC Racing SG Series 2-piece rotors are engineered to reduce unsprung rotational mass, providing sharper turn-in and improved suspension response for the C8 Corvette. These rotors utilize a high-carbon G3500 cast iron friction ring mounted to a lightweight, hard-anodized aluminum center hub using stainless steel bobbins. This fully floating design allows for thermal expansion during high-performance or track use, preventing rotor distortion and brake fade.
A major advantage of the SG Series is the replaceable outer friction ring. When the surface becomes worn, you can replace the outer ring independently while reusing the center hub and hardware, significantly lowering long-term maintenance costs for track-day enthusiasts.
