EBC Racing RP-X compound is an ultra-high performance track and race pad engineered specifically for high-horsepower vehicles driven hard on the circuit. Unlike standard performance pads that fade under extreme heat, RP-X maintains a highly stable friction coefficient of 0.55 mu at temperatures exceeding 850°C. This ensures consistent, predictable braking performance during the most demanding sprint races or track days.
- High-Temperature Stability: Delivers a consistent 0.55 mu friction level up to and beyond 850°C.
- Nucap NRS System: Utilizes revolutionary hooked pad retention to mechanically bond the friction material to the backing plate, preventing delamination.
- Stainless Steel Back Plates: Constructed with stainless steel to reduce heat transfer to the caliper and prevent corrosion or paint flaking.
- Enhanced Pedal Feel: Offers superior modulation and response compared to the RP-1 compound.
