The EBC S1 Brake Pad and Rotor Kit (S1KF1484) is a premium daily driver upgrade designed to restore and improve braking performance for select 2002-2012 Saab 9-2X and Subaru Impreza, Legacy, and Outback models. This comprehensive kit provides a direct-fit replacement for factory components, requiring no modifications to the stock setup.
The kit features EBC Ultimax pads, manufactured in the UK from a high-efficiency Aramid fiber compound. These pads are fully shimmed and chamfered for quiet operation and include EBC's patented Brake-in coating to facilitate faster bedding-in after installation. The accompanying G3000 OE-style rotors are precision-balanced and runout-tested to ensure smooth, consistent braking. To prevent corrosion and maintain a clean look, each rotor is finished with a Geomet anti-rust surface coating.
