The EBC Brakes S12 Series Brake Pad and Rotor Kit (S12KR1166) is a matched performance upgrade designed to replace worn factory components with improved stopping power and significantly reduced brake dust. Engineered for premium imports and daily drivers, this kit combines high-efficiency pads with precision-manufactured rotors to eliminate brake fade and improve pedal feel.
The included brake pads are constructed from an Aramid fiber composite enhanced with ceramic granules. These pads are fully shimmed, slotted, and chamfered to minimize NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). Each pad features the patented EBC Brake-in™ surface coating, which accelerates the bed-in process for immediate friction performance after installation. The rotors are direct-fit OEM replacements, fully balanced and runout tested to ensure smooth operation. To protect against oxidation, the rotors are finished with a Geomet anti-rust coating.
