The EBC S4 Brake Pad and Rotor Kit (S4KR1252) is a high-efficiency performance upgrade designed for select 1988-2001 Acura and Honda models, including Integra, Civic, CRX, and Prelude. Engineered for spirited highway driving, this kit solves the common issues of excessive brake dust and heat soak by combining low-dust ceramic-enhanced pads with precision-slotted sport rotors.
The included pads are manufactured with an aramid-fiber-reinforced ceramic compound, providing excellent thermal stability and resisting brake fade. Each pad is fully shimmed, slotted, and chamfered to ensure quiet operation and features EBC’s patented red Brake-in coating for rapid friction seating immediately after installation. The kit’s G3000-alloy sport rotors feature fine slots to vent gasses and debris, maintaining parallel pad wear and cooler operating temperatures. A black Geomet anti-rust coating is applied to the rotors to prevent corrosion on non-contact surfaces.
