The EBC Brakes S4 Series Brake Pad and Rotor Kit (S4KR1274) is a premium performance upgrade designed to enhance stopping power while maintaining long-term aesthetics. This kit pairs high-friction brake pads with rotors treated with a specialized Thermic Black Geomet anti-rust coating, ensuring your braking system remains resistant to corrosion and oxidation in harsh environments.
- Anti-Corrosion Protection: Rotors feature a Thermic Black Geomet coating for maximum resistance against rust and road grime.
- Self-Clearing Design: The protective coating is engineered to remain on the non-functional surfaces while being naturally removed from the pad swept area within the first 10 to 20 stops.
- Complete Axle Solution: Designed as a direct-fit replacement to improve thermal capacity and pedal feel over OE components.
- MPN: S4KR1274
Installation & Maintenance: For optimal vehicle balance and safety, do not install performance upgrade pads on the rear axle unless the front axle is also equipped with equivalent upgrades. Note: Do NOT use brake cleaner or abrasive methods to remove the Thermic Black coating from the rotors; doing so will void the EBC warranty and interfere with the proper bedding-in process.
