The EBC Brakes S5 kit is a high-efficiency sport upgrade designed for heavy SUVs, light trucks, and fast street cars requiring maximum stopping power. This comprehensive kit pairs EBC Yellowstuff high-friction pads with GD series wide-aperture slotted rotors to provide a significant increase in brake effect and thermal management over stock setups. The Yellowstuff pads feature a GG friction rating and are fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted to minimize noise while maintaining performance. Each pad is finished with a patented Brake-In coating to ensure rapid seating.

The included GD series rotors are cast from G3000 iron and feature a wide-aperture dimpled and slotted design. This configuration promotes the rapid removal of dust, gas, and debris while maintaining cooler operating temperatures under heavy braking. To ensure longevity and aesthetics, the rotors are finished with a Geomet anti-rust coating.
