This EBC Brakes S5 series kit is a high-performance brake upgrade designed for fast street use, SUVs, and light trucks. By pairing EBC Yellowstuff high-friction pads with GD series wide-aperture rotors, this kit provides superior thermal management and stopping power compared to standard OE setups.

The included Yellowstuff pads are GG-rated, providing maximum brake effect and fade resistance. Each pad is fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted to minimize noise, and features the patented EBC Brake-In coating to accelerate the seating process. The GD series rotors are cast from G3000 iron and feature wide-aperture slots and dimpled (spot-drilled) surfaces. This design effectively vents gas, dust, and debris while pulling cool air into the brake swept area to reduce operating temperatures. To ensure longevity and aesthetics, the rotors are finished with a Geomet anti-rust coating.
