The EBC S8 Brake Pad and Rotor Kit (S8KF1298) is a direct-fit upgrade engineered for superior thermal management and stopping power on heavy-duty vehicles. This kit combines EBC’s Orange Grade pads with their signature GD series slotted and dimpled rotors, offering a high-performance alternative to stock equipment without requiring modifications to the factory setup.

The Orange Grade pads feature the Nucap NRS hook system on the backing plates, providing five times the bond strength of conventional pads to eliminate friction material delamination. For the rotors, EBC utilizes G3000 alloy iron with wide-aperture slots designed to dispel gases, dust, and carbon deposits. Unlike through-drilled rotors, the GD series utilizes blind-drilled dimples to prevent stress cracking while maintaining high cooling efficiency at temperatures up to 900°C.
