The Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic clutch kit is engineered to handle the increased torque and thermal demands of modified 1.8L engines. This kit utilizes a high-friction cerametallic material that provides significantly more bite and fade resistance than standard organic discs. Unlike thin-disc versions, this "Thick" disc (MPN 08955) offers superior heat sink capacity and extended service life, making it a robust choice for high-performance street use and track days.
To ensure drivetrain longevity, the disc features a sprung center damper assembly. This design absorbs the harsh shock loads associated with high-friction engagement, protecting your transmission internals and improving synchro durability during rapid shifts.
