The EXEDY Hyper Single Series clutch is designed for moderately modified engines that require increased torque capacity without the complexity of a multi-plate setup. This pull-type system features a purple anodized, forged aluminum cover that provides significantly higher stiffness than standard stamped metal covers. This increased rigidity allows for a higher lever ratio, maintaining manageable pedal effort while eliminating the clamp load deflection common in pressed metal components.
For improved durability during high-performance driving, the pressure plate is engineered with turbine-like cooling vanes to increase airflow and dissipate heat. The sprung center disc helps dampen drivetrain shock, protecting your transmission while providing a more streetable engagement.
