The EXEDY Hyper Single Series clutch is engineered to optimize the performance of moderately modified vehicles that demand increased torque capacity without the weight of a multi-plate setup. This kit features a high-strength, purple anodized forged aluminum cover that is significantly stiffer than traditional stamped steel covers. This increased rigidity allows for a higher lever ratio, maintaining manageable pedal effort while eliminating clamp load deflection under high-load scenarios.
For improved thermal management during spirited driving, the pressure plate is designed with integrated turbine-style airflow vanes. these vanes circulate air to keep the clutch assembly cooler, preventing glazing and extending the life of the friction material. This assembly is SFI certified, ensuring it meets strict safety standards for high-performance applications.
