The Fidanza 130381 aluminum flywheel is engineered to reduce rotational mass and improve engine response. By replacing the heavy factory unit with a billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum body, this flywheel is 40-60% lighter than stock, significantly lowering the Moment of Inertia (MOI) for quicker acceleration and faster throttle response. This design frees up horsepower by reducing the energy required to spin the drivetrain.
Built for longevity and serviceability, this flywheel features a bolt-on replaceable friction plate made from heat-treated 1050 steel, ensuring optimum grip and long life without requiring the replacement of the entire flywheel. The hardened 1050 steel ring gear is also replaceable and secured with military-spec fasteners for maximum strength and reliability.
