The Fidanza 130551 Aluminum Flywheel is engineered to reduce rotating mass, delivering significantly faster throttle response and improved acceleration. By being 40% to 60% lighter than factory cast-iron units, this flywheel lowers the engine's Moment of Inertia (MOI), allowing more power to be transferred to the drivetrain. This is a direct bolt-on upgrade for non-turbo applications.
Built for durability and serviceability, the body is CNC-machined from billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum. It features a replaceable friction plate made from heat-treated steel, secured with military-spec fasteners. This design allows you to replace only the wear surface during clutch service rather than the entire flywheel. A hardened 1050 steel ring gear is included for reliable starter engagement.
