By reducing weight by 40% to 60% compared to heavy factory units, this flywheel significantly lowers the Moment of Inertia (MOI), allowing the engine to rev faster and transfer power to the drivetrain more efficiently. The main body is CNC machined from premium 6061 T4 or 2024 T4 billet aluminum for high strength and durability. To ensure longevity, it features a replaceable 1050 steel friction surface and a hardened 1050 steel ring gear, meaning you can refresh the flywheel without replacing the entire unit.
