The Fidanza 130881 Aluminum Flywheel is engineered to reduce rotating mass and lower the moment of inertia (MOI), providing significantly faster throttle response and quicker acceleration. Precision-machined from high-grade 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 billet aluminum, this flywheel is 40% to 60% lighter than the factory cast iron unit while maintaining the structural integrity required for high-performance driving.
This flywheel features a replaceable 1050 steel friction plate, allowing you to service the flywheel without replacing the entire unit when the friction surface wears. The hardened steel ring gear is secured with military-spec fasteners for maximum reliability under high-load conditions. Most applications include stepped dowels to ensure precise alignment with the pressure plate.
