The factory 2011-2016 fuel system lacks a dedicated heater, making these trucks prone to fuel gelling in freezing temperatures. This kit replaces the factory housing with a high-flow filter base featuring an integral heater, a new Water-In-Fuel (WIF) sensor, and a high-efficiency Donaldson 3-micron spin-on canister filter.

This upgraded filter base eliminates the factory fuel primer bulb and is engineered specifically for vehicles equipped with a positive pressure lift pump, such as the Fleece PowerFlo or an equivalent frame-mounted pump. The heater provides an immediate 4-8°F temperature increase across the element at typical flow rates to ensure reliable operation.
