High-performance engine modifications can compromise a factory harmonic balancer's ability to manage torsional vibration. The Fluidampr 620601 performance damper provides superior protection across the entire RPM range by utilizing a viscous design. Unlike rubber-based dampers, this unit features a free-floating inertia ring in a bath of silicone to continuously dampen harmful vibrations, reducing the risk of crankshaft failure and premature wear on critical internal components. This specific model features a 35% underdrive alternator-only pulley to reduce parasitic drag and unleash lost horsepower and torque.
