The Fox 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO rear shock brings race-developed damping technology to the Ram 2500 platform. Engineered for increased heat dissipation, the 2.5-inch 6061-T6 impact-extruded aluminum body manages thermal loads up to four times more effectively than traditional steel shocks. This mono-tube design features an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) to separate high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, eliminating aeration and ensuring consistent, fade-free performance through demanding terrain.

This shock is specifically tuned for heavy-duty applications and features a Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston to manage extension forces and provide a smoother ride at the limits of suspension travel. The 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated shaft and velocity-sensitive damping provide a connected feel on the pavement while allowing for maximum articulation off-road. For long-term durability, the body is protected by Type II clear-anodized plating and is fully rebuildable and re-tunable.
