The Fox 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP (Internal Floating Piston) shock delivers increased off-road capability and controlled on-road handling. By separating the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas, the internal floating piston design prevents aeration and oil foaming, ensuring consistent, fade-resistant damping performance even in demanding environments.
This 12-inch travel shock features a 6061-T6 aluminum body that dissipates heat four times faster than conventional steel, keeping operating temperatures low and performance stable. The 985-24-010 is fully serviceable and tunable, utilizing race-developed valving and high-quality internal components for a long-lasting, performance-minded ride with reduced vehicle sway.
