The Fox 2.0 Performance Series Remote Reservoir shock (MPN: 985-24-049) provides a significant upgrade in damping control and heat management. Designed for standard travel applications with 5.1 inches of stroke, this shock utilizes an external reservoir to increase oil and nitrogen capacity. This design allows the shock to dissipate heat more effectively than internal-IFP designs, ensuring fade-resistant performance during extended off-road use.
- 6061-T6 aluminum body dissipates heat four times faster than conventional steel
- External reservoir with Internal Floating Piston (IFP) separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas
- Black anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum components for corrosion resistance
- Redundant sealing system provides long-lasting performance and reliability
- Teflon-lined, heat-treated spherical bearings for smooth, quiet articulation
- Race-developed high-flow main piston with application-specific valving
- Fully serviceable and tunable for custom ride characteristics
