The Fox 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP shock provides a significant upgrade in off-road control and on-road comfort. Designed to increase vehicle capability by extending drop-out travel, these shocks utilize an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas. This mono-tube design eliminates oil aeration, ensuring consistent, fade-resistant damping performance even in demanding environments.
Constructed from 2.0-inch metal-impacted 6061-T6 aluminum, the shock body dissipates heat four times faster than traditional steel alternatives. The 985-24-008 model features a 8.1-inch standard travel stroke and a stem mount configuration, making it a robust solution for vehicles requiring performance-minded valving and a connected ride feel.
