The Fox 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body Remote Reservoir shock (MPN: 985-24-051) is engineered to enhance off-road control and on-road comfort. By utilizing an external reservoir, this shock increases oil and nitrogen capacity for superior heat dissipation and consistent damping during aggressive use. The 6061-T6 aluminum body dissipates heat four times faster than steel, preventing fade and maintaining performance in harsh environments.
Inside, a race-developed high-flow piston and an internal floating piston (IFP) work to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas. This design eliminates oil aeration, ensuring the valving remains precise and predictable. Built for longevity, these shocks feature a redundant sealing system and are fully serviceable and tunable for a lifetime of performance.
