Upgrade your suspension with the Fox 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP rear shock (985-24-227), engineered to increase off-road capability and maintain on-road comfort. This shock features an internal floating piston (IFP) design which separates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, preventing aeration and ensuring fade-resistant performance during demanding use. The 2.0-inch metal-impacted 6061-T6 aluminum body dissipates heat significantly faster than traditional steel shocks while offering superior corrosion resistance.
- Fits applications with 0-1.5 inches of rear lift
- Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design eliminates oil aeration
- Clear-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum body for maximum heat dissipation
- Black-anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum components
- Race-developed high-flow piston design for consistent valving
- Application-specific valving to reduce vehicle sway and improve control
- Teflon-lined, heat-treated spherical bearings for increased durability
