The Fox 2.5 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP HTO shock is engineered to provide superior heat management and damping control for heavy-duty trucks. The 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body dissipates heat four times more effectively than conventional steel, ensuring consistent performance even under heavy loads or off-road use. This shock features Fox's Internal Floating Piston (IFP) technology, which separates the high-pressure nitrogen charge from the oil to prevent aeration and fluid foaming.

The integrated Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston provides a controlled cushion at the end of the extension stroke, preventing harsh metal-to-metal contact during full suspension drop-out. This rebuildable and re-tunable shock is finished with a Type II clear-anodized coating for maximum corrosion resistance and features a hardened chrome shaft for long-term durability in harsh environments.
